How to Set your Home & Blog Pages

Depending on the Kadence child theme you purchased, you probably have a few Homepage options, a Coming Soon page, and a Blog page. I’m going to show you how to set your homepage (or coming soon page) and your blog page.

1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings > Reading
2. At the top, next to “Your Homepage Displays”, select “A static page”
3. In the first dropdown next to Homepage, choose the Homepage option you want to display for the homepage. If you want to display the Coming Soon Page, you can choose this page instead and then change the Homepage later when you’re finished setting up your site.
4. In the “Posts page” dropdown, choose the Blog page

To use the Custom Blog Page that comes with every Kreative Avenue theme, you need to keep the Post Page option as – Select -.
